Dr Brian Dunlap is a 1989 graduate of The Ohio State University where he received his Doctorate in Dental Surgery degree. He came to Coshocton in 1990 looking for a nice small town practice like the one he grew up with. He was given the opportunity to take over the practice of Dr Jim McConnell. He has completed over 11oo hours of post doctorate continuing education focusing mostly on implant dentistry, oral surgery, and orthodontics and digital dentistry. He believes in delivering the most current and comprehensive care to his patients. "Up town Dentistry in a small hometown practice." He believes in organized dentistry as he is a credentialed fellow in the Academy of General Dentistry, he is a credentialed associate fellow in the American Academy of Implant Dentistry, and Fellow of Midwest Implant Institute, and serving local dental society in several roles including past president.
He met and married his wife Ann, an anesthetist, here in Coshocton. They have three sons Lucas, Andrew , and Stuart. He has been involved with coaching youth soccer, for the youth of the entire county. The past 8 years he has been the Varsity Boys Soccer Coach at Coshocton High School. He has been a member of the local Rotary club for over 20 years and served on several boards including Leadership Coshocton County, and the local low income Children's Dental Clinic of Coshocton County, and has been their Clinic Director for the last 13 years.
Dr Dunlap has a special place for the seniors in his practice. He helped establish the 80/20 club to honor those patients 80 years old with twenty or more of there own natural teeth. He and his staff hosts an annual celebration in their honor.
